About Lacey Rose Saloon

Welcome to the Lacey Rose Saloon, Established May 2023! Now open seven days per week for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! We have brought the saloon in the Grand Imperial to its former glory as one of Silverton's social hubs and community cornerstones, and look forward to your visit! You can expect delicious breakfasts, lunchtime ragtime, dining, drinks and merriment. We also look forward to spicing things up with some fun nightly specials, and musical performances. Most of all, we can't wait to see the familiar faces of Silverton residents and guests that make this such a special place. Playing ragtime piano at the Grand Imperial Saloon in Silverton has been Lacey Black's "day job" since the summer of 2000. She has built a loyal following with her music, and always looks forward to seeing many familiar faces of return customers that have become more like friends over the years. From the keys, she has watched families grow and change and thrive, one summertime visit at a time. As she takes this next step from piano player to leading role as a restauranteur, she's looking forward to welcoming friends new and old to the beautiful Lacey Rose Saloon. When Lacey isn't at the saloon or playing one instrument or another, she can found on a river, in a Toyota truck on a dirt road, sometimes in Carhartt overalls, riding a bike, or making her husband and son giggle. Kelsey Cavanaugh's (self-pronounced) claim to fame in Silverton is that he's married to Lacey Black (many locals still know him only as Lacey's husband). His love of Silverton was cemented when he met Lacey as an actor in the green room of Durango's Snowdown follies. From there he fell in love with Lacey and a little brown house on the hill in Silverton. With a keen eye for detail and a background in hospitality and business administration, creating his own restaurant has been a back-burner dream for decades, and is now coming to fruition. Kelsey loves how time in Silverton runs just a bit slower than it does most other places. Kelsey enjoys people, fixing broken things, scowling at carburetors, all sorts of food & wine, campfires, sandy flip-flops, and being behind a windshield with his wife and son.
